The Artist’s Art By: Myer Kim
When you look at an art piece, what do you notice?

Do you notice the colors popping out? Do you see the message behind the art and the story the art is telling you? Do you see the fine craft of the art and how beautiful it is?

However, do you think about the artist who made the art piece you are looking at and who the artist is?

The art created by the artist is often placed on a high pedestal, and we as the viewer only appreciate the art for what it is never acknowledging or remembering the artist.

As a result, the artist is seen as this unknown, illusive figure only identifiable by their respective work and style.

Never remembered.
Never fully appreciated.

You will never see the artist’s face nor know the artist’s name.
You will only see the process and final art.
